LDG development is the developer. They are a Kentucky-based multifamily firm with projects in Kentucky, Louisiana, Texas, Georgia, and Tennessee.

West Oak Cliff Area Plan

The meeting ended with the continued discussion of an area plan overlay for the West Jefferson Bus Line.

Missing middle housing would be permitted within a half mile of the stations.

Lots within .5 mile of the West Jefferson Bus Line will be able to be developed by right at 8 du/single family lot.

Area Plan Proposal

The opposition voiced that the minority-owned auto shops would be displaced.

Still no final decision on the plan that could open up a "development wonderland" in West Oak Cliff. But we're watching this closely.

In a split 6-5 decision, townhomes were approved in East Dallas. Two previously-SFR lots were combined.

This team was reapplying following a denial - a reason some board members took for sticking with their earlier denial decision.
